Crime Culture Media is very excited to announce that we have an article coming out featuring an interview with decorated Texas lawman Steven Rayburn.
You may remember Mr. Rayburn as one of the law enforcement stars of our recent uploads on the Israel Keyes case, such as the full arrest footage.
In our interview, Steven Rayburn sets the record straight on his interview with Maureen Callahan, his hat, Keyes being in the front seat next to Corporal Henry and a shotgun, and the absolutely exhaustive level of police work that Texas put into finding missing Alaskan Samantha Koenig.
That incredible level of cooperation between law enforcement in multiple states along with the federal government led to the detention and apprehension of Israel Keyes, ending his ability to victimize anyone ever again.
We are also trying to arrange having Steve on as a guest in a future episode of our podcast, the True Crimes. In addition to being an award winning Texas Ranger, Steven Rayburn spent several years as a resource officer at Lufkin High School.
He is now the head of the police department at Pineywoods Community Academy. He even helped helped design their new high school with an eye towards keeping his students safe. We hope his insights can help others bring ideas back to their own communities on how to keep their own students safe.
Our exhaustive interview with Steven Rayburn on the apprehension of Israel Keyes will premiere exclusively to paid subscribers later this week, after which, we will make it free for everyone.
I hope it works out getting to interview him! That would be awesome!
