I know the files mention a search of the room he stayed in, and footage obtained of his lil trip to Walmart, did you happen to get those too? It does look like some of the photos are of evidence recovered from the hotel but I’d have to reference the FBI files to be sure, been a sec since I read through that monster. So much information in there, and strewn about in various iterations of coverage, after a while the details all become one mass in my mind lol
(I imagine there’s so many moving parts with this investigation that chopping it up by agency and department is the most effective way to give some clarity, sorry if further releases are in the works and I’m just jumping the gun!)
What i’d love to see is what effort was put in by the FBI to identify his bank robberies, especially since they’d have the most robust collection of records on such crimes. I think there’s some good indirect evidence that they’ve identified a few and made an effort to limit the public record on them. Excellent tool to place an exact time stamp on his location and direction of travel in a context in which he’d otherwise be intentionally off the record. Probably evidence used to vet and corroborate tips and sightings. 🤔 at least if you speculate from the position that the FBI has been very intentional with what it does and does not make public.
Anyway excellent job researching and sharing the info! I’m so sick of -unnamed individuals- imagining they personally hold the key to crack this case when it’s so clear that the singe path to resolution is going to be the right individual seeing the right piece of evidence. I actually sent in 2 tips based on the items you released! I’ve read about this case for years and always felt so passionate about it. (for a million reasons all of which I wouldn’t want to bore you with) but I’d held off on sending them because I wouldn’t want something relevant to be written off because I couldn’t reliably connect the information to something more tangible. Not saying I offered anything game changing but who knows what tiny lil piece of info might bust it all open.
Keep up the good work, as someone very close to a high profile violent crime myself, I feel simple presentation of the facts as they exist, in their entirety, is the most productive and respectful way to interact with something so trauamatic. 🤙
Viktoria is there anywhere I can read his psych evaluation? I came across it in one of the other sites you have discussed….something about the Pines? And the other site. I can’t remember the names of them but you recommended we check them out. Thank you.
As far as we're aware, the FBI has never released the psych evaluation itself, but agents have made statements about it over the years to the press. They certainly didn't send it to us; we did ask for it.
